Hold Your Breath is a 2024 American psychological horror-thriller directed by Karrie Crouse and Will Joines, featuring Sarah Paulson in the lead role.
Set in 1930s Oklahoma during the devastating Dust Bowl, the film follows Margaret Bellum (Sarah Paulson), a mother grappling with the loss of her husband. As relentless dust storms ravage the land, Margaret becomes increasingly convinced that a sinister presence, possibly the mythical "Grey Man," is threatening her family. Her growing paranoia leads her to take extreme measures to protect her children, blurring the lines between reality and delusion.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2024, and became available for streaming on Hulu on October 3, 2024. Internationally, it is accessible on Disney+.
